Modesto Cub Scout Pack 14 Pinewood Derby

Saturday January 25th, 2025

Race starts at 10:30AM, Event ends at 12PM

The pinewood derby is the wood car racing event of the Cub Scout Program of Scouting America. With the help of adults and STEM skills, 
Cub Scouts build their own unpowered, unmanned miniature cars from wood, over the course of several weeks. 

During the derby, scouts race their block cars, testing their preparation, down a track using only the force of gravity. 

A potluck of light snacks, beverages, and popcorn is shared among attendees. 

Boys and girls in Kindergarten to 5th Grade are eligible to join Scouting and participate in the Pinewood Derby.
